This policy explains what personal data we collect on thesocialentrepreneur.com, the personal website of Carlos Miranda Levy, why, who processes it, how long we keep it, and your rights. It applies to everyone who visits the site or uses its chat.
1. Who is responsible
The site is operated by CEMI Collectively Enhanced Multiple Intelligence, Inc., Delaware C Corporation (Delaware file no. 10647705), 7801 NW 37th St, DO80Q56188N, Doral, FL 33195, United States, which is responsible for your data (the controller).
For anything about your data, write to privacy@cemi.ai.
2. In short
- The site has no accounts, no forms, no payments and no advertising. We do not sell or share your personal data.
- We use Google Analytics, on by default, to understand how the site is used. You can switch it off at any time through «Cookie settings» at the bottom of any page.
- If you use the chat with Carlos’s AI persona, your messages are sent to Google’s Gemini service to produce the answer. We do not store what you write or what it answers.
3. What we collect, why, and on what basis

About the chat. It is an AI persona built from Carlos’s documented public work, not Carlos himself. Please do not share sensitive personal data (health, finances, identity documents, other people’s details) in it. Our Google Cloud project has billing enabled, so Google processes chat messages as a paid service: under the Gemini API terms, Google does not use them to improve its products, and logs them for a limited period only to detect misuse and for disclosures the law requires.
4. Who processes it for us

We do not use any other processor. Links to other websites (social networks, CEMI initiatives, publications) take you to sites that apply their own privacy policies.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
- Necessary: your language choice and your analytics choice, kept in your browser’s local storage, and the current chat conversation, kept in your browser’s session storage until you close the tab. They make the site work and need no consent.
- Analytics (Google Analytics): set by default, so we can understand how the site is used. You can switch them off at any time through «Cookie settings» at the bottom of any page; we then stop collecting analytics from your browser. Advertising features are switched off.
- Do Not Track: we do not track you across other sites. Because there is no common standard for «Do Not Track» signals, the site does not respond to them; your cookie choice controls analytics.
6. International transfers
Google processes the data in the United States and other countries, and our company is in the United States. Google states that it participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; where it does not apply, we rely on standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep it
- Chat messages and answers: not kept by us. They stay in your browser tab until you close it.
- Chat request logs (IP address, browser, time): 30 days.
- Daily-limit code and counter: deleted automatically about 3 days after the day they count.
- Chat cost records: kept for our accounts; they contain no personal data.
- Analytics: at most 14 months, the longest retention Google Analytics allows on our property.
- Messages you send us: as long as needed to answer and follow up, and no longer than 3 years.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- access the data we hold about you and know how it is used;
- correct it if it is wrong or incomplete;
- delete it, or object to a use of it;
- switch off analytics at any time, through «Cookie settings» at the bottom of any page;
- and, if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, restrict its use and receive it in a portable format.
Write to privacy@cemi.ai and tell us what you need. We answer requests to access your data within 5 business days, and requests to correct or delete it within 10 business days. We may ask you to confirm your identity. Most of what the site processes cannot be linked to you by us (we keep no chat text, and the daily-limit code cannot be turned back into your IP address), and we tell you when that is the case.
If you are not satisfied: in the Dominican Republic you may bring a habeas data action before the courts (Constitution, Art. 70; Ley 172-13). In the European Union or the United Kingdom you may complain to your data-protection authority. In the United States you may contact your state attorney general.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections, restrict access to the Google Cloud project to authorised people, keep the AI service key in Google Secret Manager rather than in the site’s code, and protect the chat with App Check. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you as the law requires.
10. Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and the chat is not meant for them. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
11. Changes
When this policy changes, we update the version and date at the top. The version in force when we collected your data tells you how we used it until the change.
12. Language
This policy is published in several languages. For visitors in the Dominican Republic the Spanish version prevails; in every other case, the English version prevails.
